The Brand Story
Short. Memorable. Personal.
At withMaks, every element of our brand is intentionally designed to reflect our core values: neurodiversity, innovation, and authenticity. Discover the thought behind our name, tagline, colors, and fonts.
The brandname
withMaks honors my personal, challenges spelling norms, and already sounds like a movement.
"Let me tell you why I named this company after my son." My son’s name is Maks — with a K and an S, not an X. Not because I wanted to be different, but because I’m dyslexic — and I wrote what I heard. And for the first time, I let my way of seeing shape the outcome. Not a correction. Not a compromise. Just… true.
That moment stayed with me. Because for most of my life, dyslexia was treated as a problem to fix. A limitation to manage. A source of shame, not strength.
And now I watch my daughter go through the same system. The same pressure. The same message: “You’re too slow. You’re not doing it right. You don’t fit in.”
But here’s the thing. We do fit in. Just not in the systems we were given. So we’re going to build our own. That’s why I started withMaks.
The tagline
Neurodiversity. By Design.
It says: We don’t accommodate difference as an afterthought — we start with it. This isn’t about inclusion *into* broken systems. It’s about creating new systems *from the ground up*. It’s intentional. Strategic. Beautifully simple.
